The first HD-2D Final Fantasy is among us with a complete rebuild of the mobile game Final Fantasy Brave Exvius! Bringing that traditional turn-based JRPG experience back to the franchise, this retelling of Brave Exvius's first story arc has been completely reworked from the ground up to fit that traditional experience for consoles.
The main gimmick from the mobile game is from its gacha system, which earned you "Visions" - characters from other Final Fantasy games (and other franchises not likely to make an appearance here). The Visions return, but without the gacha system. According to the producer, Keisuke Nakashima, Visions can be earned by "completing their quests or answering inquiries to measure resonance and compatibility with the characters."
