    FCC Restores Net Neutrality

On Thursday, FCC voted to regulate the internet as an essential public service. IMO, this is a massive step forward for consumers. I also think it's the correct move. I can't imagine working and living in today's society without internet access - Activities such as job seeking, remitting taxes, and banking are far more difficult without internet access. I have no doubt in my mind that it is a essential public service.

The U.S. will reinstate Obama-era regulations for internet service providers that promise fast, reliable and fair internet speeds for all consumers. What happened when those rules were taken away?

Also - I hated the reese's coffee mug guy.

I wish I could be optimistic about this. But I'm withholding any enthusiasm I have until after the election. Because if it doesn't go well, it's likely we're going to see this overturned again.

Somewhere in the depths of the most dilapidated mossy castle ruins, Ajit Pai is taking a long gulp from his gigantic Reese's Cup. He's waiting for his chance to return.

      Hopefully he won't come back.

I support net neutrality but I wish this wouldn't have such a potential to hurt rural customers seeking either options or internet at all.
