Check to see if you were in the NPD Data Breach

If you haven't heard, a major data broker had a breach which leaked a massive amount of information including tons of Social Security Numbers. I found a website that allows you to see if you were included in the breach (https://npd.pentester.com). You can also check https://haveibeenpwned.com to see if your email appears in other data breaches.

If anyone know the best services for ID monitoring, I'd love to know. I'm reading up on lifelock and deleteme as we speak.

lol One of the leaks is from LiveJournal. Here I am, thinking about LiveJournal in the Year of Our Lord, 2024.

Didn't show up on NPD.. but now I know there's some other poor soul with my same first and last name like an hour from me.

Small world, lol.

When I graduated college, there was another person with the same first and last name getting a degree as well. I've got a very uncommon Irish name combination, so to find out there was another person with my name in such close proximity was very eye-opening.

My last name is pretty obscure, so I VERY rarely will run across someone with my name.
