Microsoft is chasing the "L" so hard it's ridiculous

Microsoft finally admits almost all major Windows 11 core features are broken - Neowin

Between this, all of the massively unpopular Xbox changes, going 3rd party on pretty much all of their in house games without even TRYING a limited period of exclusivity (maybe try making CoD an Xbox exclusive for like month or so...?), and now beating Win11 into the ground with bullshit and talking about a "fully argentic" OS, I'm on the verge of shopping around for Linux builds, FFS...

As a very long time self-described Microsoft fangirl- You are right and it is breaking my heart. I recently streamed Dracula 3 Path of the Dragon for the TVG stream and the hoops I had to jumpthrough just to get it to run of Windows 11 (thanks again for the guidance, Random Encounter) was gross. They have the ability and the history to focus on what made Windows great and accessible, and they are focusing on entirely the wrong things!

    ... I still want a Zune.

Having a former Microsoft software engineer use AI to write a Notepad alternative with no AI is really meta and really funny. I don't know why Microsoft thinks Notepad needs Copilot.
