It looks like some of the code used for the Homebrew channel may have been stolen from Nintendo. I absolutely wouldn't want to legally be in Nintendo's crosshairs. It's sad that companies aren't willing to consider not-for-profit licensing for enthusiasts projects on older consoles.

It really doesn't take much to get in Nintendo's legal crosshairs these days, but this is a big loss for Wii homebrew software. I hope there is a clean alternative that comes out soon. -
