This is going to be an extremely niche interest. But if there are any fans of classic Koei games out there, I'd love to hear from you! (Yes, that includes you too, Althena!) It was one of the classic Koei games, Gemfire, that brought me to the forum that came before OGVG in the first place. But I also have spent time over the years playing the Romance of the Three Kingdoms, Nobunaga's Ambition, and Uncharted Waters games.

People say Koei games are silly and shallow, but to say that, in my opinion, is selling them very short. These games inspired me to go out and read Romance of the Three Kingdoms. I've always seen absolutely fascinated by Asian History, starting with "Big Bird goes to China" (Thank you, Sesame Street). But also, I will say the mindless killing can be very cathartic, and doing the challenges were fun!
