It stands to reason that one of the purposes of a video gaming community is to come together and play some games. To that end, we recently held our first site-wide game night this past Tuesday. The turnout was quite good, and a lot of fun was had playing the FPS classic Doom! Our plan is to hold a Valiant Together night once a month, with a different game each event. If this sounds like something you'd be interested in, please check out the forum for news and announcements for future events!
But that doesn't mean you're only limited to one day a month to play games with your fellow Valiant Gamers. To better serve our community, we've introduced a new feature called LFG (Looking for Group). If there is a particular game you want to play and are looking for fellow community members to join, put a post up in LFG to let us know! We've set up a category for each genre so you can narrow down the types of games you're most interested in following. You can find a link to LFG in the top navigation bar. We hope to refine this in the coming weeks, so please let us know if you have any feedback or questions.
Along with LFG, we've added a link to our Calendar in the navigation bar too. This will show not only events posted in LFG but also dates for when we hold our streams on Twitch. We hope you enjoy these new features, and as always we thank you for visiting Valiant Gamers!

After a brief hiatus from our usual weekly streaming, Team Valiant Gamers is back in the saddle again on Twitch! Althena has you covered on Monday nights with the recently released Lunar Remastered Collection. And if one remaster wasn't enough for you, I will be bringing you TES IV: Oblivion Remastered on Thursdays. At some point down the line, we've heard murmurs from Selbaek that he may have some games in store for you too... something about a new Switch, perhaps?

When Althena proposed to Selbaek and me the idea of getting our online groove back, I wasn't sure what the future would look like. But in a year's time, we've had a lot of fun and have built a nice little community in the process. I look forward to another year of seeing where this community experiment takes us!

As of this writing, I currently have 350.6 hours in The First Descendant and the game is currently in the midpoint of its first season. I can personally say although the start of this game can be a slog; the endgame character building, seamless gameplay, and unique and fun characters compensates for a vast majority of its issues.
