I have always liked TMNT since a young age, despite my mother not being a fan of these more "masculine" toys. I learned later of their connection with the area in which I grew up. I lived for a while in Dover, NH where Eastman and Laird lived together, and I live about 30 minutes away now.
This short movie came out just this month, and it's worth the 10-minute watch. I relate to the detail-oriented personality of Rich Horn, though I am nowhere near his level of accomplishment. Filmed in Southern Maine (I see you, Pizza by Alex!) it has some nostalgic call-outs.
