For users who signed up with a username but would like to change it to something else, we have enabled the option to change your name as it's displayed on the forums. You will still use the original username (or your email) to login, but now you can choose to customize how it appears on the forum. It goes without saying that we expect community members to refrain from harassing or inappropriate display names. We hope some of you find this useful!
