Site News Forum and stream notifications via Discord & RSS

If you haven't noticed, Valiant Gamers has a Discord! Until today, we've exclusively used it as a communication hub for our gaming events. But now the Discord can also notify you of new topics/posts on the forum as well as when we go live on Twitch, as seen below.

Keep in mind this will not send notifications for replies, just for new topics/posts.

This is possible in part thanks to the RSS functionality we enabled here on the forums. If you happen to use an RSS reader, you can now get notified of new posts that way too. Just click on the RSS icon (as shown below) at the top of the page and add the link to the reader of your choice. Each subforum also has its own feed if you prefer to follow more specific content.

Just so everyone knows, we have decided to make this a feature you have to OPT-IN to. Do make sure toy see post notifications, follow these steps:

1. In the Valiant Gamers Discord, go to Notification Settings





















2. Add the custom channels you want to get push notifications for (Twitch, new Forum posts, etc.)
3. Adjust the level of notifications you want.
